Why do I need to book with a credit card?
We do not charge your card until after your appointment. We use your card at booking to hold the appointment. Should you no-show or cancel after our 24hr cancellation policy, we will use the card on file as payment.

How do I know my appointment is confirmed?
We send a confirmation email to the email on file. If you do not receive an appointment confirmation email 3hrs after booking your appointment, please call us to verify the email on file. We will also send a courtesy reminder by text 2 days prior. Note that unless you cancel your appointment, your reservation is still held for you and the cancellation policy is still applicable.

Do you have an age restriction at Sana?
We welcome guests as young as 12 years of age. Adult supervision is required for any guest under 16.

Why was my appointment moved by 10 minutes?
To create the most available space for our guests and members, we maximize our schedules each week, meaning the time you booked may at times be changed. We will always call to confirm changes. We thank you for understanding and allowing us to share the glow.

When should I arrive for my facial?
Please arrive 10min before your appointment to complete your Skin Chat Form and be present for your self care moment. Metered street parking is available at our Wynwood Studio. Complimentary parking is available at our Fort Lauderdale studio, just let our Head Of Vibe know your license plate number so we can cover your parking fee.

What does a facial consist of?
Each of our facials vary depending on the length. However, you can expect a cleanse, skin chat, mask and hydration from all of our facials.

Are your facials pregnancy safe?
All of our facials are mommy approved. Just let your skin healer know you are pregnant so we can make sure to customize the treatment to your needs. All of the products used in our facials are nontoxic which makes it a perfect fit during pregnancy and beyond. Always make sure to consult with your doctor.

What’s right for me, 50 or 70min?
All of our facials are goal-driven meaning no matter which one you choose you will see the results you want over time. The Signature 50min is our recommended monthly maintenance facial to address your skin needs and goals. This facial includes a deep cleanse, light extractions, high frequency, facial massage, mask and hydration. Our Superglow 70min is our luxe facial recommended for a glow boosting treatment. It includes all the benefits of our Signature 50 plus a brightening professional grade peel, gua sha massage, oxygen boost and microcurrent. Our SuperDetox 70min combines all the benefits of our Signature 50 plus a purifying professional grade peel, double down extractions, blue light LED + oxygen boost.

Why should I get regular facials?
Just like we go to the gym to take care of our bodies each month, consistent facials allow our Skin Healers to get deeper with your skin each month, properly cleanse, extract and treat your skin needs to reach your skin goals. Along the way, you will also learn more about your skin, how to take care of it at home and build a routine that works for you long term.

Why no steam facials?
At Sana, we are ever-evolving to provide the best experience and goal-driven results. Facial steaming has always been part of traditional facials, but with new knowledge and new approaches to modern facials, we have come to realize that evolving to a no-steam facial approach is a no brainer. Facial steaming has been used traditionally to soften pores for extractions. However, using a steam compress and facial massage is just as effective without the possibility of over drying or irritating the skin with steam. New research has shown that steam and excess heat can be irritating to sensitive skin, dehydrated skin and hyperpigmentation. Our philosophy has always been to protect your skin barrier and we’ll keep evolving with the years to make sure our practices give you your best skin ever.

Why are the no-time add ons $30 and time add ons $35?
Our no-time add ons include professional grade products that are incorporated into your booked facial time and have a higher cost associated with them. Our time add ons necessitate an additional 10min to gain the full benefits from the add on.

What products do you sell in your shop?
We pride ourselves on our retail curation. Carrying emerging and established clean skincare brands and wellness products that are beauty and health enhancing. Good for your skin, your health and the planet.

What should I wear to my facial?
Unlike at spas, at our studio you won't have to undress for your facial so you can come exactly as you are. Our aim is to focus on what our guests' top concern is: the face.

How much should I tip?
Our Skin Healers are everything. At Sana, our suggested gratuity is 20% of your total service cost. Your gratuity is the best way to say thank you for a great service.

How do Sanas facials differ from spa facials?
Our facials are meant for the modern muse on the go that wants to get the most effective treatment with a redefined experience. You won’t spend 3 hours on a bed listening to spa music at Sana, instead our facials are designed to fit into your busy schedule. They are goal driven and educational. Our rooms are designed with an open format for a more modern and casual feel and our music is lively yet chill. It’s a new kind of facial experience, join us ?

What is LED?
LED uses multi-wave technology, containing near-infrared light that targets different layers of the skin and aids in healing inflammation and stimulating the body’s natural process to build new proteins and regenerate. Your Skin will feel calmed and rejuvenated from an increased oxygen and blood flow to the skin. Blue light helps diminish acne bacteria, help clear existing breakouts and soothe skin, while Red light promotes collagen production, calms inflammation and increases circulation.

What is Microcurrent?
Microcurrent stimulates and energizes facial muscles to achieve a visibly lifted, toned and gorgeously contoured look with zero down time.

What is Gua Sha?
Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese practice that’s thought to promote the flow to the skin. With a Rose Quartz Gua Sha tool, this massage lifts, sculpts and smoothes skin resulting in a firmer, brighter complexion while helping to flush out toxins through lymphatic drainage.

Why should I get the Double Down Extraction Add On?
If you would like to add an extraction focus to your facial this add on is for you. Additional time for a mix of manual extractions and the ultrasonic skin spatula, which uses negative ionization to decongest pores. Includes our specialized pore purifying booster serum to help remove blackheads for an ultra purifying skin cleanse.

Why should I get a Professional Grade AHA Peel?
All of our facials include an AHA peel to lightly exfoliate the skin. You can choose to upgrade your peel to our Professional Grade AHA Peel, for a boosted strength exfoliation that is still gentle enough to leave you with a glow without redness or downtime.

What is the Advanced Professional Retinol Peel? Am I a right candidate?
An Advanced Professional Peel with minimal downtime. Harness the power of Retinol to reduce fine lines, improve uneven tone and texture, and target hyperpigmentation to improve skin’s radiance. Not intended for anyone currently pregnant or lactating. Cannot be applied to guests using Accutane currently or within the past 6 months. Cannot be applied to guests who have used prescription strength retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or any other prescription strength exfoliator 48 hours prior to the treatment.Cannot be applied to anyone with an aspirin allergy. Cannot be applied to guests presenting with any form of dermatitis including: rashes, open wounds, eczema, psoriasis, cold sores, or active cystic acne. Cannot be applied to anyone with visibly sunburned skin.Cannot be applied to anyone who has had facial waxing within the previous 7 days. If eyebrow waxing has been performed, apply a thick barrier cream over the waxed area and avoid during treatment. If other facial waxing has been performed, do not perform this treatment. Male clients should not shave 4 hours prior to treatment. We do not recommend booking Blue Light LED, Double Down Extractions or our other Professional Peel Add On the same day.

Advanced Professional Retinol Peel: How often can I get it?
The Professional Retinol Peel System can be performed monthly for up to 6 months. For best results, a series of 3 to 6 treatments every 4 weeks is recommended for a noticeably firmer, smoother, more radiant complexion.

Advanced Professional Retinol Peel: What is the downtime?
The complete system produces immediate results with downtime of 5 – 7 days of light to moderate flaking. Three to seven days following each treatment, slight peeling/flaking may occur. Purging may also occur (appearing as small blemishes) due to skin regeneration and migration of cells and impurities to the surface.

Advanced Professional Retinol Peel: How should I take care of my skin post peel?
Avoid direct sun exposure and apply adequate protection of SPF 30 or higher during the day and reapply as directed. For the next 3-7 days, only wash with gentle cleanser and apply hydrating and barrier protecting products. The more hydration the better. An ideal routine would be the Pai Century Flower Face Mist, Pai Back To Life Hydration Serum, Naturopathica Calendula Essential Hydrating Cream or Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. Avoid actives and go for gentler alternatives. Wait 3-7 days before resuming treatment serums / masks /peel products, prescription topicals, exfoliators, or using a cleansing brush. Aoid facial waxing for 7 days following treatment.Wait 2-4 weeks before receiving another treatment in this series or any other professional treatment in the same area such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser treatments.

Sana is a high demand skin studio, where we value our skin healer’s time. We request at least 24 hours’ notice if you can’t make your appointment. Cancellations within the 24 hours will be charged 50% of the appointment’s fee including gratuity to the credit card on file. No showing without cancelling will incur the full reservation fee including gratuity. We do not provide refunds for cancelled/no show appointments. By booking an appointment with Sana, you acknowledge your acceptance of our cancellation policy.

How do I sign up for a membership?
You can sign up for a membership at our studio, online or by calling your designated studio.

Is there a minimum commitment?
Membership begins with a 4 month commitment to be able to experience the benefits of regular facials. After that, your membership is month-to-month and can be ended at any time without penalty or charge.

How do I cancel my membership?
We do not accept cancellations over the phone or verbally. In order to cancel, you must email your dedicated studio membership email at least 5 days before your next billing cycle. Please note, once your membership is cancelled, any remaining facials will be forfeited.

Can I freeze my membership?
We know life can get crazy, which is why you are able to freeze your account for up to 3 months a calendar year. All Freeze requests must be done in writing, email your dedicated studio membership email to freeze.

Membership Discounts
Membership discounts do not apply retroactively and are only valid the day you start your membership. Discounts cannot be shared and cannot be combined with other offers unless specified otherwise. Member discounts are not valid on product purchases on our online shop. Members receive 10% off product purchases in studio as well as 20% off any of our Add Ons.

How do I join the loyalty program?
You are eligible to join our Loyalty Program once you have spent $200 at Sana on facials or product purchases. Just ask our Head Of Vibe or call our studio to join. Everytime you shop at Sana you will earn points for that extra glow. You can see your points balance in your account and at the bottom of your invoices. Redeem ‘Glow Points’ for complimentary add ons, facials and more.

Do you have a referral program?
Yes! Share the Sana Glow with friends and they'll get $20 off their first facial + you'll get $20 off your next facial/add on. All you have to do is sign into your Sana account, click on our referral program and share your dedicated link with friends. Once your friend books and completes their facial with your code, credits will be added to your account. Win, win!

We only accept returns for unopened products within 30 days of purchase. If you’re unsure about a product, let us know and we’ll be happy to make you a sample to take home. We cannot accept products once they are opened or used. Returns are for store credit only.

Gift cards are valid for in store purchases and services only. You must present the gift card code at checkout in order to redeem it. Gift cards are non-refundable and they do not expire. They are equivalent to cash and can be used for any in store purchase. Gift Cards are not valid for product purchases on our online shop, only in studio.

Do you offer free shipping?
Sana currently offers free USPS ground shipping for all US orders above $75 (not including discounts and before taxes).

What is the shipping rate for deliveries within the USA?
All orders under $75 have a flat rate fee of $10 (except Alaska and Hawaii)

Where is my order?
Once you've placed an online order, you'll receive a confirmation email where you can monitor its status. Orders are generally fulfilled within one to three business days after purchase. Expect a separate email with tracking information as soon as your package ships. (Once the carrier scans your package, the estimated delivery date will adjust accordingly.)

Do you ship outside of the US?
We currently only ship within the US. To request a quote to ship internationally please email info@sanaskinstudio.com with the items you would like to order and a ship to address.

How fast are packages shipped?
Packages are shipped within 3 business days of order receipt using both USPS and UPS. Your package will arrive within 2-9 business days after it leaves our warehouse.

Can you ship to PO Box addresses?
We currently aren’t shipping to PO Boxes.

Do you accept returns?
We accept returns within 7 days from the delivery date. Unused and unopened items (in their original packaging) can be returned for a full refund - including taxes, minus the return shipping. Shipping is not refundable. You may choose to receive a refund to your original form of payment or store credit. You may not receive a refund if you return an item that is damaged, without authorization, and/or not in its original packaging.

What about shipping costs?
At this time, we do not pay for return shipping. Sana will only pay for a return's shipping costs if a product arrived damaged or if the wrong product was sent by mistake.

What do you accept returns on?
We accept returns for all items except for items on sale, special bundles / routine packages, food items, books, and face tools.

I am not sure what to buy, can you give me suggestions?
Meet with one of our Skin Healers to go over your skin concerns and receive recommendations for the best treatment options to reach your skin goals. Your recommendations may include which facial, add ons and products best suit you. Our Skincare Ritual Consultations are $60 to book which you'll receive in product credit that day. Virtual consults are available.

Do you include samples with orders?
We try to include samples with every order - availability permitting. Should you have specific sample requests, please include a note with your order, or send us an email at orders@sanaskinstudio.com with your order number and the name of the sample you are requesting. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
